Mr. Ken Williamson, also known as Ken, has been Chief Operating Officer of E&P Technology & Services at ION Geophysical Corporation since December 9, 2015 and has been its Executive Vice President since December 2012. Mr. Williamson served as the Chief Operating Officer, Commercialization at ION Geophysical Corporation since December 2012 until December 9th 2015. Mr. Williamson had been Senior Vice President of GeoVentures at ION Geophysical Corporation since January 2007. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Geoventures Division at ION Geophysical Corporation since December 3, 2012. Mr. Williamson served as Senior Vice President of ION's Integrated Seismic Solutions at ION Geophysical Corporation. From 1987 to 2006, Mr. Williamson was employed in various positions by Western Geophysical, which in 2000 became part of WesternGeco, a seismic solutions and technology subsidiary of Schlumberger. While at WesternGeco, he served as Vice President, Marketing from 2001 to 2003; Vice President, Russia and Caspian Region from 2003 to 2005; and Vice President, Marketing, Sales & Commercialization of WesternGeco's electromagnetic services and technology division from 2005 to 2006. Mr. Williamson originally joined ION in 2006 as Vice President of Integrated Seismic Solutions, which is now GeoVentures. Mr. Williamson holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in geophysics from Cardiff University in Wales.
