Executive Bio
Ms. Michelle Ruth Keating has been Vice President and Secretary of Kennametal Inc. since March 2016 and July 2016 respectively and as its General Counsel since December 13, 2016. Ms. Keating served as Interim General Counsel of Kennametal Inc. from July 2016 to December 13, 2016. Ms. Keating has global legal responsibility for the Kennametal and its legal department. She joined Kennametal in 2010. In her previous roles as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary, she was responsible for its SEC and NYSE compliance, corporate governance, legal direction of global mergers and acquisitions, subsidiary management, as well as commercial contracts. Prior to joining Kennametal, Ms. Keating served as contract manager at WESCO Distribution, where she was responsible for negotiating agreements with its largest customers and suppliers. She served as Additional Director of Kennametal India Limited since November 5, 2013 until August 9, 2016. Ms. Keating received her Bachelor'S Degree from Westminster College and her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University's School of Law.
