Mr. Louis C. Vintro, Ph.D., has been Senior Vice President of New Products & Business Development at Key Technology, Inc. since 2013. Mr. Vintro served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Global Operations at Key Technology, Inc., from October 12, 2011 to 2013. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Semiconductor Products Division at Electro Scientific Industries Inc. (ESI, Inc.) since May 2009 to 2011. Mr. Vintro started his career as a Management Consultant for A.T. Kearney, Inc. He joined ESI in May 2009 and brought with him over 18 years of experience in technical business management positions.From 2005 to 2009, he was at KLA-Tencor, Corp. where he served as Senior Director of Technical Programs in the Surfscan Division. From 2001 to 2004, he served as the Global Business Manager for BOC Edwards Kachina (now Applied Materials, Inc./Semiconductor Fab Services). He has also worked for Vitria Technology, Inc. and Alcatel Vacuum Inc./ MEMS Process Equipment. Mr. Vintro holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University and an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He earned a BS degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
