Edward Brandman — Member, MD & Chief Information Officer at KKR & Co. L.P.

Mr. Edward Brandman, also known as Ed, has been Chief Information Officer of KKR & Co. L.P. since November 2007 and serves as a Member and Managing Director. Mr. Brandman joined KKR & Co. L.P. in August 2007. He leads the firm's global technology and operations team and is responsible for global technology operations, IT operations, and information strategy to support financial reporting, transactions, and capital raising. He also assists firms investment teams with IT diligence. He is a Founding Member at AltExchange. He was employed by JPMorgan Chase & Co. Mr. Brandman served as Managing Director of Advisory Services group at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he focused on best-in-class technology strategies to support capital markets and trading activities for clients in the financial services and investments industries. Mr. Brandman was a Partner at BusinessEdge Solutions Inc. since May 2005. From 2003 to 2006, he was a Managing Partner at OMT Partners LLC. Mr. Brandman served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Trading Technologies LLC, which he founded. Before founding Renaissance Trading, he served as the Chief Information Officer, Head of Electronic trading and Director of Electronic of Robertson Stephens & Co., L.L.C. (RSCO). Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Mr. Brandman was responsible for equity trading technology at JP Morgan, where he designed the JP's equity trading platform that is used by JP Morgan/Chase on a global basis and by its members on the NYSE and AMEX. He began his career at JP Morgan and CO. in 1991. Mr. Brandman also managed mid-office and back-office projects to streamline end-to-end trade processing and enhance syndication deals. He is a current board member of Artivest and AltExchange and on the client advisory board of Bitsight. He previously served on the board of directors at Ipreo. Mr. Brandman was a Member of the NASDAQ Advisory Board of Compaq Western. Mr. Brandman has over ten years experience working on Wall Street. He received a B.A. from Rutgers College.
