Mr. Philipp Freise has been Member of Private Equity and Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications of Europe at KKR & Co. L.P. since 2001. Additionally, Mr. Freise has been a Partner at KKR & Co. L.P. since December 2012. Mr. Freise heads the technology, media and telecommunications industry team for KKR's private equity platform in Europe. Previously, he served as a Director at the firm. Mr. Freise led KKR's growth investments and played a significant role in various other KKR media and German transactions. He joined KKR in 2001 from Venturepark. He co-founded Venturepark in 1999 and was with it until 2001. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Engagement Manager of McKinsey & Company, Vienna, Austria, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, New York, USA. Mr. Freise serves as Chairman of Supervisory Board of Fotolia LLC. He served as Vice Chairman of Supervisory Board at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE since June 2014 and Member of Supervisory Board from March 7, 2007 to July 31, 2015. He serves on the Board of Directors of GetYourGuide. He serves on the Board of Directors of Airbus DS Electronics & Border Security, Scout24 Switzerland and Fotolia Holdings.
