Usman Rabbani — Managing Director and Global Head of Innovation and Technology at KKR & Co. L.P.

Mr. Usman Rabbani serves as a Managing Director and Global Head of Innovation and Technology at KKR & Co. L.P.Previously, he served as a Director and Global Head of Innovation and Technology at KKR & Co. L.P. He serves within KKR's Private Equity platform. In these capacities, he works with investment teams across sectors to assess the impact of disruption and technology on new investments, and oversees technology related value creation priorities across the global KKR portfolio. Previously, he was a Director of KKR Capstone and a Director of Private Equity at KKR & Co. L.P. Mr. Rabbani joined KKR Capstone in 2015. He works with the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry team to evaluate new investments and leads technology related value creation efforts across the global private equity portfolio. Previously, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company focused on the high tech sector and the enterprise information technology function. He was a leader in McKinsey's TMT, enterprise IT, and digital groups. Before that, he spent 10 years in software engineering and operational roles as Founder and Chief Technology Officer of a cloud video surveillance platform. He served as an Enterprise IT Architect at Pfizer. He served as a Tech Team Lead and a a software developer at Scient. He was a Software Developer at Massachusetts General Hospital. Mr. Rabbani is a Director at Epicor Software Corporation since August 2016. Mr. Rabbani earned an MBA at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Computer Science at Harvard University and a B.A. in Computer Science and Psychology at Yale University.
