Marvin M. Garrett — Senior Vice President, Drilling at Kosmos Energy Ltd.

Marvin M. Garrett has more than 30 years of experience managing oil and gas drilling, production, and development activities worldwide. Prior to joining Kosmos in January 2006, he served as vice president of operations for Triton Energy. Mr. Garrett led the fast-track development of the deepwater Ceiba oil field discovery offshore Equatorial Guinea. His team achieved first production in only 14 months from discovery. He also had responsibility for Triton production from the giant Cusiana and Cupiagua oil fields in Colombia and development of the company’s multi-field, gas-condensate project in the Malaysia/Thailand Joint Development Area. While with Triton, Mr. Garrett also managed the company’s drilling program in Argentina, China, Ecuador, Greece, Guatemala, and Italy. Following the sale of Triton to Amerada Hess Corporation (now Hess Corporation) in 2001, he served as vice president of production during the Triton transition from a public company to a Hess business unit.
