Mr. Michael T. Beyer has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at Laredo Petroleum, Inc. since April 2014 and also served as its Controller from 2012 to April 2014. Mr. Beyer has more than 14 years of experience in accounting, with the majority in the energy industry. Mr. Beyer joined Laredo Petroleum in September 2007 and served as its Controller from February 2012 to April 2014. He previously served as Manager of Financial Accounting for Laredo Petroleum from 2008 to 2012 and Senior Accountant from 2007 to 2008. Prior to joining Laredo, he worked in the tax field and spent five years at a private energy company. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Oklahoma and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2002.
