Pamela S. Pierce — Independent Director at Laredo Petroleum

Mrs. Pamela S. Pierce, also known as Pam, served as Vice President of Business Development of Vastar Resources, Inc. since February 1996. Mrs. Pierce is a Partner in Ztown Investments, Inc., focused on investments in domestic oil and gas non-working interests. She served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Houston-based Mirant Americas Energy Capital and Production Company. She served as the President of Huber Energy LP, an operating company of J.M. Huber Corp., where she designed and implemented a Transaction Strategy for Property Acquisitions, Divestitures and Monetizations and had direct profit and loss responsibility for production properties and associated reserves in Texas, Wyoming and the Gulf of Mexico Shelf. From January 1993 to 1996, She held the position of Offshore Business Unit Manager for ARCO and subsequently Vastar. She held the position of Vice President of Safety, Health, Environmental and External Affairs for ARCO Oil and Gas Company from September 1991 to January 1993. Prior assignments included Manager of Operations and Technical Services and various positions of increasing responsibility with ARCO and ARCO Alaska, Inc. She joined ARCO in 1977. She has been a Director at Michael Baker Corporation since February 24, 2005. She has been an Independent Director of ShawCor Ltd. since June 2014. She has been an Independent Director of Laredo Petroleum, Inc. since May 2007. She serves on the University of Oklahoma College of Engineering Board of Visitors. She also attended the Independent Petroleum Association of America's (IPAA) Executive Oil and Gas Course at Harvard University. She holds a BS Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Dallas.
