Mr. Alan F. Magleby has been Director of Investor Relations, Director of Communications and Managing Director at Legg Mason, Inc. since March 2009. Prior to Legg Mason, Mr. Magleby served as a Senior Vice President of Investor Relations of Washington Mutual Inc. since September 10, 2004. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer, in charge of investment banking coverage and mergers and acquisitions at JPMorgan Chase & Co., and also served the roles of Senior Vice President and Deputy Director of Investor Relations starting in 2001, where he oversaw all aspects of Washington Mutual's investor relations function, including day-to-day management of the investor relations team. Mr. Magleby has also been Chief Financial Officer of Asia Pacific at Chase Manhattan Bank and Chemical Bank. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from King's College.
