John E. Harrison — Senior Vice President of Development at Macerich Company

Mr. John E. Harrison serves as Senior Vice President of Development at The Macerich Company. Mr. Harrison has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and development and private practice, during which he played an active role in the visioning process for Fairfax County and Tysons Corner, Virginia. Prior to joining Macerich, Mr. Harrison was Director of Development for Wilmorite Property Management and was responsible for obtaining the entitlements for the renovation and expansion of Tysons Corner Center. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a member of the Tysons Corner Transportation and Urban Design Study Coordinating Committee and the Fairfax County Economic Advisory Commission, and serves as the Secretary of the Dulles Rail Transportation Improvement District Advisory Board, Phase 1. Mr. Harrison received his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Management from St. John Fisher College.
