Michael Slavin — Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Macerich Company

Mr. Michael Slavin serves as an Senior Vice President of Information Technology at The Macerich Company. Mr. Slavin is responsible for executing key strategic initiatives that maximize technology and business process solutions as well as overseeing the continuous improvement of all transactional systems. He worked as a Group Controller for Macerich. Prior to joining Macerich in 2000, he became a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. He also held Chief Financial Officer positions with a commercial and residential property management company in Santa Monica, California and a world-class ski resort in Lake Tahoe, where he helped orchestrate the development of a pedestrian alpine village in Squaw Valley, California. Mr. Slavin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.
