Tom Unis — Senior Vice President of National Leasing Services and Retailer Relations at Macerich Company

Mr. Tom Unis serves as Senior Vice President of National Leasing Services and Retailer Relations at The Macerich Company. Mr. Unis works to effectively guide and deploy Macerich's strategic in-house resources to provide counsel and support for the Leasing, Real Estate Service and Property Management teams. His group houses restaurant leasing, tenant coordination, specialty leasing and portfolio reviews, as well as national retailer relations leasing positions. Under his direction, the team works to strengthen retailer relationships and offers comprehensive expertise and consulting to support Macerich leasing teams. A top priority is to partner with retailers to accomplish their strategic growth, location and maintenance plans. In addition, Mr. Unis' team responds to the needs of Macerich's retail partners and provides in-house training and presentation support to Macerich's leasing professionals. Mr. Unis joined Macerich in 1988 and his career included positions in acquisitions, development, asset management, specialty leasing and permanent leasing. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame in 1977.
