Reginald D. Hedgebeth — Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Marathon Oil Corporation

Mr. Reginald D. Hedgebeth, also known as Reggie, has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Marathon Oil Corporation since April 24, 2017. Mr. Hedgebeth served as General Counsel at Spectra Energy Corp from March 31, 2009 to 2017 and also served as its Secretary and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer until 2017. Mr. Hedgebeth served as General Counsel of Spectra Energy Partners GP LLC, General Partner of Spectra Energy Partners, LP since December 2013 until February 27, 2017 and served as its Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer until February 27, 2017. He has extensive experience in legal and compliance matters, including securities, corporate governance, ethics, business development and financing, intellectual property and government regulatory matters, through his work for Spectra Energy Corp and Circuit City Stores, Inc., as well as executive-level experience in government relations and advocacy, internal controls, strategy, supply chain and procurement, risk management and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining Spectra Energy in 2009, Mr. Hedgebeth served as a Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Circuit City Stores Inc. from July 11, 2005 to March 21, 2009 and its Secretary from 2005 to March 21, 2009. He served as Vice President of Legal at The Home Depot. He also supported The Home Depot's international divisions in Canada, Mexico and China. He served as an Associate at King and Spalding, LLP. He began his career with GE Capital Corporation in 1989 and served as its Financial Analyst based in Atlanta. He also held various finance and commercial real estate positions at GE Capital. He has been an Independent Director of The Brink's Company since July 11, 2011. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and The Pennsylvania State University.
