Cheryl Ebright Dell — Publisher of Fort Worthstar-Telegram at McClatchy Company

Ms. Cheryl Ebright Dell has been Publisher of Fort Worthstar-Telegram of The McClatchy Company since April 3, 2017 and served as its President and Publisher of The News Tribune since December 14, 2004. Ms. Dell served as the President and Publisher of The Sacramento Bee since April 14, 2008 until April 7, 2017. Ms. Dell served as Publisher of McClatchy's Tri-City Herald from October 2000 to December 14, 2004. She held a variety of newspaper management positions in California, Texas and Washington over her career. She is a veteran of the newspaper industry. Ms. Dell joined McClatchy in 1997 as Advertising Director of The Modesto Bee. She moved to The Fresno Bee in 1999 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing until 2000. Ms. Dell has been an active member of the communities in which she's lived and has been on the Board of such organizations as Tri-City Industrial Development Council, Community Roundtable, Friends of the Hanford Reach (Founding Board Member), United Way, Rotary and Junior League, to name a few. Ms. Dell has also won a number of illustrious awards including a City of Kennewick Proclamation designating Cheryl Dell Day in December 17, 2004, Woman of the Year - Communications in 1995, Publisher's Award in 1994 and Distinguished Leadership Award in 1992. Ms. Dell is a native of Modesto and a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, with a degree in communications.
