R. Elaine Lintecum — Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at McClatchy Company

Ms. R. Elaine Lintecum has been the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at The McClatchy Company since May 16, 2012. Ms. Lintecum is responsible for all of McClatchy's financial operations. She spent 24 years in McClatchy's corporate Finance Department holding a variety of key positions, including Financial Analyst, Investor Relations Manager, Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer. She served as Treasurer of The McClatchy Company since December 1, 2002. She was McClatchy's financial reporting specialist for U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings and has played an instrumental role in every major financial development at McClatchy for more than two decades. Ms. Lintecum first joined McClatchy in 1988. Prior to joining McClatchy, Ms. Lintecum was a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells. She has been a Director of River City Bank since May 2016. She is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions team and serves on the boards of The Seattle Times Co. and Ponderay Newspring Company. Ms. Lintecum received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University Chico.
