Executive Bio
Glenn Mitchell has been Vice President of Clinical Safety of Mercy Health since April 2007, and also serves as its Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Mitchell works with Mercy's hospitals and help in the development of a Mercy Safety Center. He previously served for 21 years with the U.S. Army Medical Corps, retiring in March 2005 at the rank of Colonel and from the position of Commander at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Past President of the Aerospace Medical Association. Dr. Mitchell holds master of science in engineering and doctor of medicine degrees from Brown University in Providence, R.I.
