Mr. Douglas Stroemel, also known as Doug, served as the Administrator Mercy Hospital Aurora and Mercy Hospital Cassville at Mercy Health (alternate name Sisters Of Mercy Health System, Inc.) since February 2010. Mr. Stroemel is the President of Mercy Hospital Aurora and President of Mercy Hospital Cassville at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Mr. Stroemel served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in Aurora. He also served Mercy roles as Clinical Executive Director and Manager of Respiratory Therapy and cardiopulmonary rehab. His health care experience as a clinician and leader spans more than 40 years. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has a Masters degree in health administration from Webster University and a Bachelor's in general studies from Drury University.
