Mr. Robert Y. Copeland, Jr., also known as Bob, served as President of Mercy Mccune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage at Mercy Health. Mr. Copeland joined Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital in May 1996 as Director of Patient Care Services and served as Chief Executive Officer since July 1998. His prior administrative experience includes hospitals in Oklahoma City, McAlester and Tulsa, Okla., and Branson, Mo. He is board certified in health care management and is a fellow and past regent of the American College of Healthcare Executives, where he represented the Show-Me Region of Missouri. He served as Member of the Board of Trustees of the Missouri Hospital Association. Mr. Copeland received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree in health administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
