Dr. Lourdes G. Weltzien has been President of Asia Pacific Markets at Meridian Bioscience, Inc. since July 2016 and has been its Vice President since September 2013 and serves as its General Manager. Dr. Weltzien has more than 22 years of experience in the Life Science and Diagnostic industry. Dr. Weltzien joined Meridian in July 2008 as General Manager for the Life Science business. She served as Vice President of Meridian Bioscience, Inc. since September 2013 and served as its President of Asia Pacific Markets since July 2016. Before joining Meridian, Dr. Weltzien held various President, Vice President and Manager positions at Millipore-Sigma (formerly, Sigma-Aldrich Corporation) since 1994, which included full P&L responsibility in Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Marketing, R&D and Product Management in North America and in Europe.
