Simon Harnest joined Metagenomi in July 2021. He has over a decade of experience in biotech capital markets and was most recently CIO of Cellectis, where he was instrumental in orchestrating the NASDAQ listings for both Cellectis (CLLS) and its subsidiary Calyxt (CLXT), raising over $600 million for both companies, as well as advising on corporate strategy.
Prior to Cellectis, Simon was Vice President at the Trout Group and Trout Capital, now Solebury Trout, a leading investor relations and corporate communications firm focused on the life sciences. Simon is a registered representative and holds a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
