David J. Colo — Independent Director at MGP Ingredients

Mr. David J. Colo, also known as Dave, has been Chief Executive Officer, President and Director at SunOpta Inc since February 6,2017. Before joining Diamond Foods, Mr. Colo spent approximately three years as an independent industry consultant, focusing on organizational optimization and planning. Mr. Colo served as Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain of Diamond Foods, Inc. Mr. Colo served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Diamond Foods, Inc. since June 26, 2013 until February 29, 2016. Mr. Colo served as Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain at Diamond Foods, Inc. from December 3, 2012 to June 26, 2013. He served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales and Operations Planning at ConAgra Foods, Inc., since June 2005 and served as its Senior Vice President of Enterprise Manufacturing and Senior Vice President of Operations. He served as Vice President and later President, Specialty Ingredients, ConAgra Food Ingredients. He spent 16 years with Nestl???/Purina in roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President, Supply Chain and Vice President, Store Brands and Venture Development. He spent several years with Nestle-Purina Pet Care Company in roles of increasing responsibility, including vice president of supply for the its Golden Products Division and Vice President of store brands and venture development. Mr. Colo has served two years as the President of the American Dehydrated Onion and Garlic Association. Mr. Colo has 30 years of leadership experience in general management, operations and supply chain management. He has been an Independent Director of MGP Ingredients Inc. since August 18, 2015. He serves as a Board of Director at Patriot Renewable Fuels, LLC. Mr. Colo holds a B.S. degree in Agribusiness Economics from Southern Illinois University.
