Alexander S. Rubin — Managing Director - New York at Moelis & Company

Mr. Alexander S. Rubin, also known as Alex, serves as a Managing Director at Moelis & Company and Moelis & Company Holdings LP. Mr. Rubin focuses on advising clients in the real estate sector at Moelis & Company. He has been a Managing Director in Real Estate Sector at Moelis & Company L.P. since June 2, 2009. Mr. Rubin has 20 years of investment banking experience and is responsible for providing advisory services to clients in the real estate sector. He joins from Citigroup, where he was a Managing Director in Global Real Estate Investment Banking. In this role, Mr. Rubin advised public and private real estate clients such as REITs, real estate finance companies and private equity investment firms on a wide range of corporate finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and recapitalizations. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Rubin served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of European Real Estate Investment Banking at UBS based in London as well as a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch in New York. Mr. Rubin holds a B.A. from Cornell University.
