Charles Noel-Johnson — Co-Head of EMEA Restructuring & Recapitalization and Managing Director - London at Moelis & Company

Mr. Charles Noel-Johnson serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of EMEA Restructuring and Recapitalization at Moelis & Company L.P. since January 1, 2011 and December 17, 2015 respectively. Mr. Noel-Johnson serves as Managing Director at Moelis & Company Holdings LP. He focuses on recapitalizations and restructurings in the EMEA region. Mr. Noel-Johnson served as Executive Director of Moelis & Company LLC. He joined Moelis & Company in 2009. Prior to this, he spent eight years at Close Brothers, where he was Director in the European Restructuring Group. In this role, he advised a wide array of corporates, sponsors and creditors across Europe on restructuring and distressed mergers and acquisitions transactions. Prior to Close Brothers, Mr. Noel-Johnson worked at JPMorgan Asset Management for two years. Mr. Noel-Johnson has 16 years of investment banking experience advising corporates, creditors, private equity, bondholders, and sovereigns on numerous restructuring, refinancing and strategic transactions. He has completed transactions representing over $100 billion across Europe and the Middle East. He is an Associate of the Securities & Investment Institute. He was honored by Financial News '40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Investment Banking' in 2011 and 2012. Mr. Noel-Johnson graduated from Edinburgh University with M.A. honors in Politics and studied Politics and International Relations at The University of California, San Diego.
