Kerry J. Preete — Executive VP & Chief Strategy Officer at Monsanto Company

Mr. Kerry J. Preete has been the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President at Monsanto Company since May 4, 2016. Mr. Preete leads global strategy for Monsanto, focusing on future growth opportunities for it. He leads developing businesses for Monsanto, as well as the established Lawn & Garden business. He served as an Executive Vice President of Global Strategy at Monsanto Company from August 2012 to May 4, 2016 and also served as its Vice President of International Commercial from June 2008 to July 2009, Vice President of Crop Protection from October 2009 to October 2010, Senior Vice President of Global Strategy from October 2010 to August 2012, Vice President of Commercial and President of Roundup Division from July 2009 to October 2009. He served as the President of Global Crop Protection Division at Monsanto from 2009 to 2010. He served as Vice President of Monsanto's U.S. Crop Production and President of Seminis, Monsanto's Vegetable Seed Division from 2005 to June 2008. He joined Monsanto in 1985 as a Sales Representative in Saskatchewan and served in a variety of Sales, Marketing and Commercial Development Positions in both U.S. and International Markets. He led the Global Product Strategy Organization and served as the Vice President of the U.S. Branded Business and Global Product Strategy Lead at Monsanto. He led U.S. Markets at Monsanto Company from 2001 to 2003 and served as its Vice President from 2003 to 2005. He has been an Independent Director of PolyOne Corporation since December 18, 2013. He served as Member-at-Large/Member of the Board of Directors at Qualisoy. Throughout his life and career, he was involved in farming. Mr. Preete holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan and Master of Business Administration from Washington University.
