Mr. Howard L. Meyers is a Partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Mr. Meyers has experience in all aspects of corporate finance, including traditional debt and equity securities; securities law compliance for public companies; mergers and acquisitions of public and privately held companies, including leveraged buyouts; bank financings; partnership law, including public master limited partnerships and private syndications; and emerging businesses and venture capital. Mr. Meyers has particular experience with public utilities and other regulated industries. For more than 20 years, he has worked with regulated electric, gas and water utilities and interstate common carrier pipelines in a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, securities offerings and general corporate representations. From 1994 through 1996, Mr. Meyers served a three-year term as managing partner of Morgan Lewis, a position essentially equivalent to the chief operating officer. He serves as Director of NACD Philadelphia Chapter at National Association of Corporate Directors. Mr. Meyers is general counsel and a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Directors of Greater Philadelphia First Corporation. Mr. Meyers graduated in 1970 from the University of Delaware and received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School in 1973. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations.
