Mr. Seth M. Gerber has been Managing Partner for Santa Monica Office at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP since January 2015. Mr. Gerber was Partner of Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan LLP since February 2007. His practice is concentrated in complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on banking and financial services industries and international law. He prosecutes and defends significant commercial matters, including the defense of individual and consumer class actions regarding financial products and services. He represents an international religious organization in claims against the Russian Federation to recover cultural and religious treasures seized during the Bolshevik Revolution and the Second World War. Mr. Gerber served at Bingham McCutchen. He has been profiled in the Los Angeles Times and Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2005 and 2006. In 2011, Mr. Gerber was named one of the top 20 lawyers in California under the age of 40 by the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. He was honored with the Wiley M. Manuel Award from the State Bar of California for his pro bono work on behalf of indigent residents of Los Angeles. He is a member of the Regional Board and the Legal Advisory Committee of the Anti-Defamation League and is the Chair of its Speakers Bureau. He has been Co-Chair of the Glass Young Leadership Institute. He also has served on the Associates Advisory Board of Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. He received his B.A. in history with departmental and pi gamma mu honors from Trinity College and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law at the University of California where he served on the Moot Court Board and was a member of the National Moot Court Team and the National Appellate Advocacy Team.
