Marietta Edmunds Zakas — Executive VP & CFO at Mueller Water Products

Ms. Marietta Edmunds Zakas, also known as Martie, has been Senior Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development and Communications of Mueller Water Products, Inc. since November 2006 and has been its Interim Head of Human Resources since January 2016. Ms. Zakas served as Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning and Investor relations of Mueller Water Products Inc., since November 29, 2006. Ms. Zakas directs Mueller Water Products's investor relations program to promote visibility, understanding and support of corporate objectives and is responsible for Mueller strategic planning functions. She served in various positions at Russell Brands, LLC from September 2001 to August 2006. She served as Vice President for Business Development of Russell Brands, LLC (Russell Corp.), since September 2005 and its Treasurer since June 2002. She served Chief of staff, business development at Russell Corporation. Ms. Zakas served as Vice President of Russell Corp. since June 2002. She was an Independent Consultant of Russell and other companies. Prior to joining Russell Corporation in 2001, she served as Corporate Vice President, Director for Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary at Equifax Inc., from 1993 to 2000. She also served as Equifax's Treasurer from 1995 to 1996 and Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 1995. Ms. Zakas held progressively responsible roles with both Holiday Inn Worldwide in Atlanta and Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc.'s Investment Banking Division in New York. She has been a Director of Atlantic Capital Bancshares, Inc. since March 2011. She serves as a Director of Atlantic Capital Bank. Ms. Zakas holds an MBA from the Colgate-Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, Law degree/Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and Bachelor's Degree from Randolph-Macon Woman's College.
