Mr. William J. Restrepo has been the Chief Financial Officer of Nabors Industries Ltd. (NIL) since March 04, 2014. Mr. Restrepo has experience in global finance and accounting as well as the treasury, tax, risk management and internal audit groups of NIL and his extensive portfolio of proven domestic and international capabilities in corporate finance, financial accounting, internal audit, tax, operations and mergers and acquisitions, as well as planning and analysis. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Drilling S.A. from February 2011 to February 28, 2014. He served as an Executive Vice President, Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Seitel Data Corp., Seitel Delaware, Inc., Seitel Solutions and Vision Energy, Inc. (formerly, DDD Energy Inc.), from July 2005 to 2010. He served as the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Smith International, Inc. from October 16, 2009 to August 27, 2010 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer until August 27, 2010. He served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Seitel Inc. from July 25, 2005 to October 15, 2009. Mr. Restrepo also served as the Chief Financial Executive for the North and South America area of Seitel Inc. From 1985 to 2005, Mr. Restrepo spent 20 years with Schlumberger Limited in various senior financial and operational positions, including operational responsibility for all product lines in the Continental Europe and the Arabian Gulf markets, as well as senior financial executive roles in Corporate Treasury and worldwide controller positions with international postings in Europe, South America and Asia. He serves as a Director of Casedhole Solutions, Inc. He served as a Director of Platinum Energy Solutions, Inc. from March 10, 2012 to March 7, 2013. He served as a Director of C&J Energy Services, Inc. (formerly, C&J Energy Services, Ltd.) since March 24, 2015 until January 1, 2017. Mr. Restrepo holds a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting, a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami and an MBA from Cornell University.
