Jillian B. Thomsen — Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance at Nektar Therapeutics

Ms. Jillian B. Thomsen has been Chief Accounting Officer at Nektar Therapeutics since April 21, 2008 and its Senior Vice President of Finance since February 2010. Ms. Thomsen served as Controller of Nektar Therapeutics from March 2006 to April 20, 2008 and also served as its Vice President of Finance from April 2008 to February 2010. Before joining Nektar in March 2006, she served as a Deputy Controller of Calpine Corporation from September 2002 to February 2006. From December 1990 to May 2002, she performed various roles with Arthur Andersen starting as a Staff Accountant and concluding as a Senior Manager. She participates in Nektar's Standard Executive Benefits Program, including its change of control severance benefit plan. Ms. Thomsen holds a Master's of Accountancy from the University of Denver and a B.A. in Business Economics from Colorado College.
