Mr. John Nicholson has been the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at Nektar Therapeutics since June 2016 and December 10, 2007 respectively. Mr. Nicholson has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and served as Senior Vice President of Nektar Therapeutics. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Nektar Therapeutics since December 10, 2007 until June 2016. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Business Operations of Nektar Therapeutics since 2007 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer until April 2008. Prior to Nektar, Mr. Nicholson served in a number of leadership roles at Bayer Schering Pharma AG, including Vice President of Corporate Development and Treasurer of Schering Berlin Inc. He served as President of Schering Berlin Insurance Company, Bayer Pharma Chemicals Inc. and Schering Berlin Capital Corporation. Mr. Nicholson served as Treasurer of Berlex Inc. He holds BBA from the University of Toledo.
