Mr. James D. Meier has been Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Secretary at Nevada Gold & Casinos Inc. since November 01, 2014. His experience previously has included Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer for a Canadian Public company involved in all aspects of hospitality throughout North America; as Financial Reporting Manager for a nearly billion dollar (US) gaming, hotel and entertainment public company and a publicly traded national telecommunications provider handling accounting for a US $ 700 million investment portfolio. He held financial and accounting positions at Ameristar Casinos, Inc. and Nevada Palace Hotel and Casino and was an Auditor at Piercy, Bowler, Taylor & Kern. Mr. Meier is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant with a Master of Science Degree in Hotel Administration from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mr. Meier received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Minnesota State University.
