Mr. Burke served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Modern Bank since October 2006 He served as a Treasurer of Richmond County Savings Foundation. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Richmond County Financial Corp. from February 18, 1998 to July 31, 2001 and Richmond County Savings Bank, a subsidiary of Richmond County Financial Corp. from October 1, 1997 to July 31, 2001. Mr. Burke served as the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at New York Community BanCorp. Inc. and President and Chief Operating Officer of its subsidiary, New York Community Bank since August 1, 2001 until his retirement. He retired from New York Community BanCorp. Inc. in December 2003. Mr. Burke started his career and became a Partner, in Ernst & Young's Financial Services Practice from September 1984 to September 1997.
