Lou Aversano — Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy & Mather New York and Director at Ogilvy & Mather

Mr. Lou Aversano serves as Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy & Mather New York at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Inc. and Ogilvy & Mather SAS since April 2014. Mr. Aversano served as the Chief Operating Officer of Ogilvy East at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Inc. Mr. Aversano served as Chief Operating Officer of Ogilvy & Mather East at Ogilvy & Mather Inc. In 2011, he led the O&M New York operation as Chief Operating Officer, while maintaining global leadership of the IBM business. In the 18 years since joining the team, he was an active citizen of the IBM and O&M partnership and has implemented groundbreaking technological and creative innovations to brands across the agency. His focus was on leading the O&M New York operation as it continues to build strong discipline expertise that develops integrated communication solution for clients such as IBM, American Express, Unilever, Coke, UPS, BP, and Time Warner Cable. Aversano joined Ogilvy & Mather in 1994 as an account supervisor. He moved to Paris in 1996 to help lead the IBM account across Europe. In 2000, he returned to New York and joined the IBM worldwide leadership team and became President of the IBM business globally in 2007. Prior to joining Ogilvy in 1994 he worked at NW Ayer & Kirshenbaum & Bond. He serves as a Member of Ogilvy & Mather Board at Ogilvy & Mather Inc. He has been a Director of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Inc. since February 12, 2013.
