Mr. Roger Bassoul serves as the Head of Commercial Operations, Middle East Turkey and Africa at Novartis AG. Mr. Bassoul served as Head of Commercial Operations for Middle East, Turkey, and Africa at Sandoz International GmbH, subsidiary of Novartis AG since February 1, 2009. He joined Novartis AG in 1997 and held a number of country and general management roles in the Middle East and Africa regions including, most recently, he served as Head of the Maghreb Cluster (which includes Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya). He served in senior product, brand and strategy roles for companies in pharmaceuticals and other industries. Mr. Bassoul holds a degree in Economics from the American University in Beirut, Lebanon, and an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology in the US.
