Dr. Shay Wolfling has been Chief Technology Officer of Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd. since 2011. Dr. Wolfling was the founder and served as Vice President of Research and Development at Nano-Or Technologies Inc. from 2000 to 2006. Dr. Wolfling joined Nova in 2011. Prior to Nova, Mr. Wolfling was an R&D Manager at KLA-Tencor-Belgium (formerly ICOS Vision Systems, a publically traded company acquired by KLA in 2008), where he led multidisciplinary metrology & inspection development projects. Dr. Wolfling took Nano-Or from the idea stage to initial product sales. Prior to founding Nano-Or, Dr. Wolfling was a Project Manager in Y-beam. Dr. Wolfling has several patents under his name in the field of optical measurements. He served as a Director of Nano-Or Technologies Inc. Dr. Wolfling holds a B.Sc. in physics and mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a 2nd degree in physics from Tel-Aviv University and a PhD in physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
