Prof. Rager served in various positions at Old Republic International Corporation including Chief Executive Officer of Old Republic's Great West Casualty Co unit, Chief Executive Officer of Old Republic's Great West truck insurance business since June 1, 2005, President of the General Insurance Group July 2006, Senior Vice President of Administration and Planning since July 2006, Senior Vice President of Transportation Insurance of the General Insurance Group since June 1, 2005, Member of the Old Republic General Insurance Group since June 01, 2005 and Chief Operating Officer of the General Insurance Group since July 2006. He is responsible for the management of the Great West companies, as well as those of its general aviation, automobile extended warranty and Canadian truck and travel insurance businesses.
