Klas joined One Technologies as CMO in 2019, bringing decades of marketing leadership experience in customer acquisition and retention. Klas hails from Amazon.com, where he served as Global Head of Customer Acquisition and Activation for Kindle. He was responsible for leading and executing the firm's marketing strategy to acquire and activate new Kindle eBook customers. Prior to Amazon, Klas was Vice President of Customer Acquisition and Retention at Hearst Magazines, where he led lifecycle marketing across Hearst's portfolio of 20 magazines. Earlier in his career, Klas served as Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Dow Jones & Co., where he oversaw the strategy and execution of subscriptions across Dow Jones consumer brands: The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, SmartMoney, and MarketWatch. Outside of work, Klas loves to play squash, golf and ski, as well as traveling to new places.
