Mr. Adam E. Logal has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Opko Health, Inc. since April 01, 2014 and also has been its Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer since March 27, 2007. Mr. Logal has over 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceuticals industry. He is a strategic finance executive with extensive experience in SEC compliance and reporting, domestic and international finance, strategic planning, cash flow management, budgeting, taxation, treasury and business development. He served as Vice President of Finance at Opko Health, Inc. until April 2014 and also served as its Secretary since March 27, 2007, Principal Accounting Officer from March 27, 2007 to May 3, 2007 and Executive Director of Finance since March 27, 2007. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Executive Director of Finance of Acuity Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer, Executive Director of Finance, Secretary and Treasurer at eXegenics Inc. He served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer of Nabi Biopharmaceuticals Inc. since March 6, 2006. He served as Director for Accounting and Reporting at Nabi Biopharmaceuticals since April 2005 and its Senior Director of Accounting and Reporting. From June 2003 to April 2005, he served in various roles in Nabi Biopharmaceutical's external reporting group, Senior Manager, External Reporting and Taxation and from November 2002 to June 2003 its Accountant in its manufacturing group. He served as a Tax Accountant of Spherion Corporation from May 2001 to November 2002. From November 2000 to May 2001, he served as Staff Accountant for Dunn & Co., CPAs PA. Mr. Logal serves as the Chairman of the Board of Xenetic Biosciences, Inc. and has been its Director since August 15, 2017. He has been an Independent Director at VBI Vaccines Inc. (SciVac Therapeutics Inc). since April 2014 and Bio-Reference Laboratories Inc. since August 20, 2015.
