Executive Bio

Mr. Curtis A. Glovier serves as Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Wealth Services and Senior Managing Director of Merchant Banking Division at Opus Bank. Mr. Glovier has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Pensco Trust Company since August 3, 2016. Prior to joining Opus Bank, he served as the Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, LLC from May 2007 to July 2016, where he founded the private equity group within the Credit Funds division of Fortress. Mr. Glovier served as an Executive Officer at New York Power Authority. He served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Middle Market Buyout Group of Perseus, L.L.C. He was responsible for Perseus' middle market buyout and recapitalization activities, with a focus on business services and branded consumer products. In addition, he was responsible for Perseus' debt financing activities. He joined Perseus, L.L.C. in May 2000. Mr. Glovier has over 20 years of experience in private equity investing and leveraged finance, primarily focused on financial and business services, branded consumer products and debt financing activities. He began his private equity investing career at Nassau Capital LLC, which managed alternative investments on behalf of its sole client, the Princeton University Investment Company (PRINCO). He served as a Managing Director and Principal of Nassau Capital, L.L.C., where he was responsible for all aspects of the direct investment process including identifying and developing opportunities, negotiating and closing transactions and developing strategic plans and exit strategies for portfolio companies. Mr. Glovier began his financial career in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York where he was an Associate in the Leveraged Finance and M&A departments from 1986 to 1988 and 1992 to 1995. He served as a Management Consultant/Consultant of The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. During his time at Fortress Investment Group, Perseus and Nassau Capital, Mr. Glovier served as a Board Member of numerous companies spanning the financial services, business services, energy technology, manufacturing, communications and consumer products sectors. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Maritime Telecommunications Network, Inc. He has been Independent Director of HRG Group, Inc. since January 2015. He has been a Director of Opus Bank since September 2010. He serves as Director of OPEX Corporation and PI Encorp, LLC. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Iridian Technologies Inc, Workflow Holdings Inc., Haggar Corporation and Encorp, Inc. He serves as a Director of Converse Inc. Mr. Glovier serves as a Director of companies in the branded consumer products, energy technology, communications and manufacturing areas. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79 licenses. Mr. Glovier received a B.A., cum laude in Economics from Princeton University, an M.Ec. with high distinction from James Cook University in Australia and an M.B.A. as a Palmer Scholar from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
