Mr. Michael J. Lyon has been the Chief Financial Officer of Pattern Energy Group Inc. since October 2012 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer since November 15, 2016 until February 14, 2017. Mr. Lyon served as Head of Structured Finance of Pattern Development since May 2010. Mr. Lyon independently managed a portfolio of investment assets from 2003 to 2010. He was a Principal of Babcock & Brown from 1989 to 2003, where he advised clients on and structured and placed debt and equity in, the independent power industry. He worked for Geothermal Resources International, Inc. in a variety of roles, including Assistant Vice President, from 1983 to 1988. Mr. Lyon also worked for Main Hurdman, a predecessor to KPMG LLP, from 1980 to 1983 and is a former Certified Public Accountant.
