Carlos Ruisanchez — President, CFO & Director at Pinnacle Entertainment

Mr. Carlos A. Ruisanchez serves as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PNK (SA), LLC. Mr. Ruisanchez has been the Chief Financial Officer of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. since April 2011 and has been its President since May 2013. Mr. Ruisanchez was responsible for managing the financial and administrative functions of the finance department, including: management of the capital structure, strategic financial planning, accounting, strategic sourcing, bank and financial community relationships, internal and SEC reporting and internal and industry analysis to support the Entertainment's goals for growth and profitability. Mr. Ruisanchez was responsible for Pinnacle's overall strategy, corporate finance, investor relations, accounting, treasury, development activities and corporate operational functions in strategic sourcing, business analytics and gaming operations. He joined Pinnacle Entertainment in August 2008, where he played a variety of strategic and operational leadership roles. He served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Development at Pinnacle Entertainment Inc., since August 2008 and its Executive Vice President until May 2013. Mr. Ruisanchez joined Pinnacle following a successful career at the investment banking firm Bear, Stearns & Co., where he served as Senior Managing Director, responsible for corporate clients in the gaming, lodging and leisure industries, as well as financial sponsor banking relationships. Mr. Ruisanchez joined the Investment Banking department of Bear, Stearns in 1997 as an Associate in its Los Angeles office and moved to New York in 1999, where he served until 2008. Prior to joining Bear, Stearns, he served as a Financial Analyst for Aetna Health Plans in Northern California. He serves as a Director at Asian Coast Development (Canada) Ltd. He has been a Director of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. since May 2016. Mr. Ruisanchez holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he focused on finance and international business, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
