Lorne E. Phillips — Executive VP & CFO at Pioneer Energy Services Corp.

Mr. Lorne E. Phillips has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Pioneer Energy Services Corp. (alternate name: Pioneer Drilling Co.) since February 1, 2009. Mr. Phillips has over 14 years of experience in the oil service industry. He served for 10 years at Cameron International Corporation (also know as Cooper Cameron Corp. including as its Vice President since December 2006 and Treasurer since July 6, 2005 and directed its treasury and merger and acquisition activities. Mr. Phillips joined Cameron in 1999 and served as its General Manager of Cooper Cameron Valves' (CCV) Canadian operations from March 2003 to July 2005. He served as Vice President of Marketing and M&A for CCV from 2000 to 2003 and served as its Manager of Project Marketing for Cooper Cameron in Cooper Cameron Corp. corporate office. He served as Manager of Business Development of Cameron's Valves & Measurement group from July 1999 to June 2002. Before joining Cameron, he served as a Financial Analyst for SCF Partners and for Simmons & Company International. Mr. Phillips has the responsibility for corporate finance, cash management and banking relationships with respect to Cooper Cameron and its subsidiaries. Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
