Dr. Hongmin Zhang, Bob has been the Chief Technology Officer of Pixelworks Inc. since February 2007 and also serves as its Senior Vice President. Dr. Zhang served as Vice President of Technology of Pixelworks Inc. since January 2002 and also served as its Vice President of Technology. From 1998 to 2001, Dr. Zhang held the position of Chief Technical Officer of nDSP, which he co-founded in 1997. From 1993 to 1997, he served as President of Aptronix Inc., a pioneer in fuzzy logic, and from 1989 to 1993 he served as Chief Technical Officer. From 1988 to 1989, he held the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Apt Instruments, Ltd., which was renamed Aptronix Inc. From 1986 to 1988 He held the position of Chief Scientist at Machine Intelligence Corp. in Beijing and served as an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Fuzzy Systems and Mathematics. From 1985 to 1986, Dr. Zhang held the position of Research Scientist at the Air Force Institute of Engineering in Xian. He registered 12 international patents on fuzzy logic and expert systems technologies and holds a Ph.D in Mathematics from Beijing Normal University, China.
