Mr. Joel R. Rathbun has been Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at PolyOne Corporation since January 4, 2016 and is responsible for developing and leading the global acquisition activities. Mr. Rathbun served as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at PolyOne Corporation from June 2011 to January 3, 2016. In addition to his M&A leadership at PolyOne, he also served as General Manager for its Specialty Engineered Materials business in North America. Prior to joining PolyOne, Mr. Rathbun served as Senior Vice President, mergers and acquisitions at Moelis & Company in New York City. He joined Moelis & Company on January 14, 2008. He spent ten years with CIBC World Markets in positions of increasing responsibility most recently as executive director. In total, he has over thirteen years of investment banking experience and he has been involved in numerous mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across a wide range of industrial sectors both domestically and internationally. He was employed at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Mr. Rathbun earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada and a master's degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
