Mr. Francisco Velasco has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at PriceSmart Inc. since July 2016 and has been its Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer since October 2016. From June 2009 to June 2016, Mr. Velasco served as Regional Counsel Latin America for AbbVie Inc. At AbbVie, Mr. Velasco is responsible for its legal affairs in Latin America, managing over a dozen in-house counsel plus supporting staff covering over 20 countries. Mr. Velasco attended law school in Mexico, has a Masters of Law degree from Georgetown University and has an MBA degree from Duke University.
