Mr. Stephen H. Faberman, Esq. has been the Chief Legal Officer at Progress Software Corporation since December 2015 and serves as its Secretary. Mr. Faberman served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel since January 2014 and since December 2012 respectively. Mr. Faberman serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of Progress Software Corp. and served as its Vice President since December 2012. He manages Progress Software's Legal Department, which is responsible for all company legal matters, including corporate and board governance, licensing, employment, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and litigation. He served as Acting General Counsel of Progress Software Corp from January 2012 to October 2012. He served as Vice President and Corporate Counsel of Heritage Property Investment Trust Inc. at Bradley Operating LP since October 2003. He served as Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of Heritage Property Investment Trust, Inc. He managed an in-house legal department responsible for providing corporate and real estate acquisition, disposition, joint venture, development, property management, leasing, litigation and general real estate services. Mr. Faberman served as a Corporate and Securities Partner o Bingham McCutchen LLP, where he specialized in advising public and private companies in corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions. He joined Bingham as an associate in January 1996 and became a partner in January 2002. Mr. Faberman earned his J.D. degree from Boston College Law School and he received a B.A. degree in History from Tufts University.
