Mr. Homan served as a Senior Vice President of Varian Inc. since 2006 and its General Counsel and Secretary from 1999 to May 2010. Mr. Homan served as Vice President of Varian Inc. from 1999 to 2006. He served as an Associate General Counsel of Varian Associates Inc. from 1998 to 1999 and served as its Assistant Secretary from 1993 to 1999 and as Senior Corporate Counsel from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Homan holds B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute , and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
