Mark Elliott Boulding — Chief Legal Officer, EVP & Secretary at PTC Therapeutics

Mr. Mark Elliott Boulding has been Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2012 and has been its Secretary since April 2002. Mr. Boulding served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of PTC Therapeutics, Inc. from April 2002 to April 2012. He served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Legal at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since 2000. He served as General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs of Medicalogic/Medscape Inc. since May 2000 and also served as its Secretary. He served as Senior Vice President of Drug Discoveries Technologies at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. He served as when Medscape, Inc. merged with Medicalogic/Medscape Inc. Prior to the merger, he served as the General Counsel and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Medscape, Inc. from June 1999 to May 2000. Prior to joining Medscape, he was a lawyer in private practice in Washington D.C. from 1991 to June 1999. Mr. Boulding is a Co-founder of the Internet Healthcare Coalition and sits on its Board of Directors. He also participates as MedicaLogic/Medscape Inc.'s representative on the Board of Directors of the Health Internet Ethics ('Hi-Ethics') self-regulatory association and the eHealth Initiative, a nonprofit association focused on the use of technology to improve health care. Mr. Boulding received his J.D. from the University of Michigan and his B.A from Yale Colleg.
