Mr. Bernard leads QIAGEN's growing presence in diagnostic solutions for healthcare. He joined the QIAGEN team in February 2015 from bioM??rieux, where he served in roles of increasing responsibility for 15 years. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Daktari Diagnostics. He served as Corporate Vice-President of Global Commercial Operations & Investor Relations and Executive Vice President of Greater China at bioM??rieux SA. From 2007 to 2012, Mr. Bernard held the role of Senior Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service & Investor Relations out of Boston. Mr. Bernard served as Corporate Vice President of Asia Pacific Region at bioM??rieux SA. He served as a Executive Vice President of Greater China and Corporate Vice-President of Global Commercial Operations & Investor Relations at bioM??rieux, Inc. Mr. Bernard served as Corporate Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at bioM??rieux SA. Mr. Bernard served as Corporate Vice President of Europe, Middle East, Africa at bioM??rieux SA. Mr. Bernard joined bioM??rieux in 1999, as Strategy Director and served as Head of Strategy & Clinical Marketing from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, he assumed responsibility for the Europe / Middle East / Africa zone. He served as a Director of AdvanDx, HepatoChem and Daktari Diagnostics, Inc. He is a graduate of Sciences Po (Paris), and has a Master in Economy and Administration from the College of Europe and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics. He has a degree in Foreign Trade (Barcelona) and is one of France's Foreign Trade Advisors (Conseiller du Commerce Ext??rieur de la France).
